Thanks Thunder for closing my thread, even though it had nothing to do with warez. :doubt: Thats why you closed it, right? I legaly bought the game it's not warez. Thanks for the help guys it was a serious thing until about, lets see, the 5th post, then
sh!t was posted. I really thought you guys could help me. I guess my Freespace career is over. :( I absolutely will not buy it again.
Now I'm sorry for making a seperate thread for this, but Im really pissed right now. (Losing a baseball game doesn't help any) Im also trying to make a point.
Thunder (or whoever) do what ever you want, I really no longer care. :sigh:

What do you gain by discussing potentially illegal matters here? Do it or dont do it, you and I both know our opinions will not alter the outcome of your decision. Dont create new threads reguarding admin decisions, take it up with the admin through a non-public means.

You know what, screw this. Im done arguing. Im going to e-mail DaveB and ask him to look at my posts and see what he says. I should have done that a while ago.

You just answered your own question, "potentially illegal matters". The man owns the game, hell I've played many a game with him over the years ;) so I know he's got the game. And he only needs one disk and doesn't feel like wasting money on 2 others.
And it was locked cause people thought it better to spam it than answer his question, I assume anyways

I'm not going to speak for Thunder but I'd like to point out that you seem to have absolutely no regard for what I told you concerning what defines warez. It doesn't matter if it's just for you, anyone who uploads the game for download is providing warez.
Secondly, we have no proof whatsoever that you own the game so even if the first rule did not hold true the person uploading the game for you might still be providing it as warez unknowingly.
Lastly, Thunder closed the last thread. He did it because I had addressed your question and the thread had no further purpose. I would have closed it then and there myself but I didn't think it would go any further.
There is nothing to stop someone uploading the image and you downloading it illegally, nobody can really stop you if you intend to do it just don't discuss it any further here.

In actual fact I didn't close the thread for its original topic, it was tempting but I could more or less see your side of the arguement. However if you'll look again at the thread in question you'll see that in its later part it'd degraded into spam. This didn't really help its situation any and thus I closed it - if you still want a copy of FS2 somehow then there are loads of places to get it cheap and so on... do a forum search on where to buy it and that'll probably turn some stuff up as well. Please don't post threads like this in future though.
