Title: Strange Shockwave Bug
Post by: mobcdmoc3 on December 22, 2012, 04:48:27 pm
Alright, so a tester of mind came across an obscure bug that I have never encountered before. It seems to form around shockwaves, but I was unable to replicate it on my machine.

The debug log is attached below. Can anybody shed some light on this?

That looks like gpu memory corruption. Tell your tester to try it with a recent nightly build and see if that changes things.

Or invest 30 or 50 Euros in a more recent card.

This indeed looks like that. What are you tester's system specs?

Update: I tried the third mission again on a recent nightly build, but still got the error.

On the plus side, the huge boxes were much better-looking and well-rendered

So, no ideas aside from new video card? >_>
