Massive spoilers below:
I am absolutely in awe of the extent of the BP universe. It's obvious that the mission designers and writers spent countless hours to ensure no loose ends remained untied. No action or event was without purpose or effect. I thought the Gef arc in Act 3 was a perfect example of this in-universe consistency. I chose to destroy the Kostadin habitat (after repeatedly failing at engaging MacDuff) and a few Dreamscapes later... there was the sleeping Gef from Greenfly cell relaying the repercussions of my decision. What made this even cooler was that I had spared the Gef pilots in the first mission, and that was reflected in the Dreamscape! You guys really did think of everything all the way through!
I do have a question about the Gef's presence in the Dreamscape, though. Why wouldn't she (as a genetically-modified posthuman with incidental Nagari sensitivity) have appeared earlier? Is CASSANDRA capable of passively picking up any Nagari sensitives? Or was this active listening on the Fedayeen's part to snoop on the Gefs?
In addition, since certain posthuman Gefs are Nagari sensitive, to what extent are they aware of the process, if at all?
Lastly, I was struck by CASSANDRA turning out to be based on the computational power of a Shivan. Although I was repeatedly assured that it was dead, I'd like to know 1) where the UEF got their hands on one and 2) how we know the Shivans haven't been toying with us from the get-go. It would be very thorny indeed if we learned the existence of the Fedayeen was due to Shivan interference in their brothers' pet project.
Congratulations to the BP team. I'm eagerly anticipating Acts 4-5.

I'd like to know 1) where the UEF got their hands on one
CASSANDRA is one of the shivan specimens that was captured during FS1 and transported to Sol for study.
