Title: FSO Installer Issues

I'm having an odd issue with FreeSpace Open and it's installer.  For some reason, while yes, the 3.6.12 data installs just fine, for the most part, for some reason, it's not completely installing.  It's strange, as I've never had this issue before.  Is there a fix for this or something?

nah it's broken. a new installer is in the works

Huh.  Them I might as well just take the working copy off my external hard drive.  Just to clarify, though, you guys at HLP will announce the new installer's release on the HLP homepage when it's finished, right?

Most definitely. Don't wait for it though... if you follow through Matth's link's guide, you'll be pretty much on the right track to get the FSO experience up to speed.
