Title: Crash on mission C1:05
Post by: Zentobe on January 25, 2013, 11:35:39 pm
I get a strange crash when I destroy all the siege ships in mission C1:05
I tried it with 3.6.16 (RC 1), r9292, r9496, r9508.

BTW I'm on a mac.

Do you have the HUD Patch (http://www.mediafire.com/?yoqnu9o18xgpvri)?

Okay, so I tried it with the patch, and it still happened (with the same assertion).

I am probably placing the patch in the wrong place.

Do I place it in the mod folder or not?

Here is the log just in case.

Extract into your <DE folder>/data

So it would be extract into Ashen Wings/data for your case (make the data folder if no such folder exists).

Instructions are in the release thread, forgot to paste them over here, sry.

Okay so I did do the patch properly, but it still crashed. The error log in my previous post might help. Oh yeah, a crash also happens on the next mission when I destroy the Chlorine, and in the mission before the Nexus station one, I crash around ten seconds after starting.

I see the debug error and that's precisely what the patch is supposed to fix...
This is why I need to get an updated version out ASAP...

I'll just disable the head anis in the hud options for now.
