Is this a good program to use? I've never cared that much about anonymity, but the way Canada is going, it might be worth using.

It's insanely slow, but as far as privacy goes, A++ as far as I understand. Another solution is VPNs, but they're very slow, too.

I'm not surprised it's slow. Their description of it sounded like your data does a couple laps around the block to make sure no one is following. A tour of the internet.

You can always vpnbook.com - It's a free VPN service, its servers are in Romania because of favorable data retention laws. There are some others, too: http://www.freehostedvpn.com/

In either case, speeds will drop, but I also feel that things like this are becoming increasingly important.
