They have anounced that tehy will release the soruce code...and possibly the code for CQ2 and assets, so that they can finish the game with the help of hte community.

God, I hope they use similar licensing to FreeSpace 2's code release. Maybe someone from our SCP should post up information on a potential license that would work for modders and the company.

I literally played that game until the disc broke! :)
Grabbed it on GoG now and installed it on the tablet, weeeee :)

If that's the mod he posted on the Kerberos forums, Terran ships with more guns, basically.

Basicly, you have 2 versions of the carrier and cruiser, and 3 versions of a battleship and DN. Different stats and armamnets.
You have a DN with 2 PD guns, DN with 2 topedo launchers, DN with 1 torp and 1 PD gun (in addition to the standard 3 heavy lasers), battleship with 4 guns (no tempest), etc...
There a excel sheet I used with all stats and everything.
Frankly I just re-installed the game so I have to check myself if everything is accurate in the mod file itself. If you spot anything odd or a balance issue, point it out pls.
