Title: Capships behaving weird

Hi, i am experiancing some very odd behaviour from 2 corvettes in a mission i am working on, The first one is a Demios following a waypoint path, when it gets to the last one it starts spinning around in circles. The second problem is a Sobek corvette which is meant to engage the demios, it to is following a path but the problem is it wont fire its main beams yet if fires its AAAfs and the deimos is in its firing line as it was working fine 20 mins ago.

That is the weird thing it was working perfectly fine 20 mins ago, the deimos wasn't spinning and the sobek was firing her Vslashes without a problem. The only change i made to the mission was change the head ani's on some of the messages, that couldnt have screwed up the mission like that could it? The way around the VSlash problem i think would be to script the beam weapons but i am unsure on how to do that, but i am not sure how to fix the waypoint problem.

The Deimos is spinning because it's missing the waypoint, just change the orders at the end of the waypoint path or a few seconds before finishing to stay still or something like that.

The Sobek not firing.. not sure, did you check that it's beam freed properly?

will give that a try. Yeah i checked the sexps and its beam freed, its firing all its aaafs just wont fire the Vslashes. i even checked to see if i accidently turret locked them and i havent, they should be firing.

I assume the VSlashes can actually see the deimos at any playthrough... Is it friendly by any chance? If so, try targeting the deimos and c-3-1, I ran into that problem recently, and time compression also caused some weird stuff to happen.

Yeah as is i said before i changed he head ani, the mission worked beautifully, no problems now after that one change its screwed it up!
