The director of District 9 presents a movie set in a pretty as all get out Stanford Torus (http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=oIBtePb-dGY). Matt Damon needs to get to a space (robo)doctor or he will ****ing die.

Early buzz is calling this a killer action movie, it may also be a good movie!

Not Dredd, zero stars.
Seriously though it's a 2:16 spot and I don't really have a clue what the story is like and it's arranged like the thirty-second LOOK AT OUR PRETTY **** end of trailer sequence everyone. And I think I recognize some of those buildings/art direction on the torus from Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn and ARE THOSE ****ING PELICANS.
I guess I'm kinda glad to see Forward Unto Dawn's guys go pro, but really. The Into Darkness trailers have done the same thing and it's a bad practice and needs to stop. I'm pretty sure I knew more about what was going to be in The Raid just by looking at the poster.

The less of the story they spoil here the better, and I think you're a little off in your assessment of the VFX - Forward Unto Dawn was animated by Arc Productions, which I don't believe is involved in Elysium in any capacity (Elysium is probably being done by some combination of Weta and Image Engine)

Well, it may not be them, but it definitely looks like them.

w.o.w. - without further ado

Don't think that any practitioner could turn Matt into a Bruce Willis. At least he holds some straw under his superstar-goggles.

This reminds me, Oblivion should be coming out soon.
No no, this looks cool too. Matt Damon is cool, and we always could use more decent original sci-fi. And it looks kind of like Halo, which also could be cool, depending on your viewpoint.

Neill ****ing Blomkamp? **** yeah, I'm sold.

I did warn you about your content-free ramblings. Enjoy being banned.

Funny I was just reading an article about this film for the first time yesterday. Seems like it might be pretty cool.

Wasn't the recent problem about trailers that they exposed too much of the plot?
Now people complaint that it exposes too damn little?
Humans.... never happy.
