It's weird.
Because
return has_hell_frozen_Over();Should return false (no)
but
return !Is_PC_Gaming_Dead();returns true, yes. Because it's like "Is PC Gamind NOT Dead?" and the answer is Yes, it's not dead. Hmmm... we have 2 answers from volition :O

We might have to wait a while for the latter one though, seeing how many indie games popped up lately.

but... the trademark issue going on with the freespace trademark, interplay and this other company. not sure if that has been resolved yet.
Unless they add the "Descent" title to the name like they did with the first one.

Hmmm yeah, didn't hear a word from that "Stompy Bot Productions" or whatever it's called either. I just hope it will be a positive word, if there will be any.
I was playing FreeSpace 2 for so many years... observing that forum for, I know, like 2 or 3 years but I created account today, lol.

And I suspect that if they get the trademark it will get worse. Someone on this forum watched their heavy gear trailer and called it a confidence trick.

That simply means that they suspect PC gaming will have died before hell freezes over. So they have to check both. :)

Pretty sure that's either an Emperor or a Phoenix Rising. I dunno for the cockpit, but it could be anything among the released cockpited fighters.

There was something with a cockpit, but the only thing I could identify was a blatant MediaVPs shockwave.
There was also a section with a much "looser" HUD, implying higher resolution.

Errrr, no. :v: making FS references in promo materials is a looooong tradition. There's a reference in some of the RF: Guerrilla videos, IIRC (The ones with the Ostrich Hammer).

I didn't personally detect any, but your post made me look it up and I thought it was hilarious enough to share (again if it was already)
In the beginning of the video, watch the whiteboard behind one of the people closely (Especially the area behind his head).
And there's a "Free'd Space" achievement in Guerilla for killing a number of flyers, random NPC chatter along the lines of "I wonder what happened to Bosch" in the same game, a city called "Bastion"......
