Title: Mild Audio Stutter/Pop

I noticed the audio popping a little when I played through FreeSpace 2, and I'm having the same issues in FreeSpace 1 and Silent Threat: Reborn. In particular during mission briefings, the background music or voiceover will skip a fraction, or stutter for half a second, and then continue. I'm sure i have all the audio files for FSOpen. I'm using Generic Software in the launcher, and the skipping happens with and without EFX enabled.

do you have a setting for pci latency in the bios ?
try different values (32,64,128)

Necroing this thread to avoiding posting a duplicate. I'm having the exact some problem that Aristo was having. Do I really need to adjust a setting the bios to fix this?
