Title: Wireless radio effects

Hello,

So I'm fredding a mission and i have in my mind what i want to say in my messages in game, and i want to act out those messages when I'm done, but i would like them to sound true to the show and Diaspora, I'm using Audacity but so far i seem to be only getting a tinny "walkie talkie" effect with some sort of white noise in the background. Wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to achieve a more realistic wireless chatter sound effect. Thank you.

Torc is the guy to chat with about that since he did the effects for Diaspora. I believe he did post these details (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=82864.msg1654428#msg1654428) once.
