I downloaded that Derelict link which I believe is the most current one. About a few weeks ago I was playing it and it worked okay, but when I tried to play it recently, the graphics were 'normal and not the prettier SCP kind (i.e., the Hatshepsut looked like it did in the original FS2 and didn't have that yellowish stripe across the top).
I don't think I did anything wrong, the only major thing I did was I installed FSPort so I could play Destiny Of Peace.
Does anyone have any advice? Should I try reinstalling everything?
Also, there aren't any nebula backgrounds now in Derelict either.

Please post your fs2_open.log file. Instructions on how to do this can be found in this post.
-
I hope I did this right.
The thing is, Derelict is playable, I'm just not getting the good SCP graphics I've seen people have on Youtube playthroughs. Know what I mean?

-mod Ridiculous,mediavps_3612
Try again with the correct mod selected.
-
Sorry about that. I made sure I had Derelict selected this time. :)
I don't know if it makes a difference but I was using one of the nightly builds (3.6.19 which I believe was also numbered 9678) from a while ago.
Also, I don't think there was anything special I had to do with the download. I downloaded it, extracted files to a folder then copied that folder to "FS2" which is pretty much the normal procedure for any mod.

-mod Derelict,mediavps
Try modifying Derelict's mod.ini to point to mediavps_3612 instead.
-
How would I do that?
-
1. Go to the Derelict folder.
2. Edit the mod.ini file with Notepad.exe (right click mod.ini select "open with...", select Notepad from the list, etc.)
3. Substitute the word "mediavps" for "mediavps_3612" in the last line
4. Save the file
5. .....
6. PROFIT!

You really really NEED to update your graphics driver, as it is pretty ancient.

Thank you everyone. It works, Derelict looks good now. :D

As The E suggested I updated my graphics driver.
