Title: Better Thrusters

Would it be possible, if some did it, to replace all the crappy thrusters on the Fighters and Bombers to much nicer "glowier" models? It wouldn't take too long and would look really cool but would it work with just 3 planes and how would FS cope with alpha?

Its possible...but not as easy to make it look good as you may think.

what's crappy with the current thrusters?
correct me if I'm wrong, but you want to replace a full model with a 3 planes one? :doubt:

the current thrusters look a bit naff to me and seem way too 3D for vapourised whatever it is they use in the engines. Plus the 3 planes looks quite good. I only use TS2 which has no volumetric lighting so all my thrusters are done with 3 planes.
