So I just downloaded FS2 Open through the installer after buying Freespace 2 from GOG.com
Everything works just fine if it wasn't for the forced Yaw on the X axis of my mouse
The game recognizes the X- and Y-axis of my mouse, but it fails to properly bind rolling to the X-axis and I'm stuck with having to bind Roll on A/D and using the mouse for pitch/yaw
It's uncomfortable and inaccurate as I'm used to this style for flying with KB/M since BF1942
In the options there is a command called "Bank when pressed", I tried binding it to an unused key and keeping the button pressed while ingame
But it completely converts any yaw input into rolling, so even when I can roll with my mouse I cannot yaw with the A/D buttons as it is also affected
Is there any way to force FS2 to properly bind the mouse axis on the control I want or do I have to use an emulation software?
If that's the case, which one?
Thanks for the help

This bug has already been reported here (http://scp.indiegames.us/mantis/view.php?id=2436), but it looks like the developers aren't planning to fix this until SDL is implemented in the Windows version of FSO (which I'm guessing won't happen anytime soon). Hopefully they (or someone else) can fix it sooner.
