Title: [WIP] GTC Crueser?

I've been quite demotivated lately, so I decided to do anything, so that I start doing something and eventually do everything. As a result a crueser emerges:


What do you guys think? How can I make it seem more like a next-gen fenris' cousin rather than a wasp-battlestar crosover? My curves implementations failed, so I went for boxes. Also, asymmetry is cool. I have yet to figure out what should be asymmetric here and help will be appreciated.

in regards to you question.  the fenris has 3 very distinct sections which define it's look.

1) the bow of the ship in profile looks like that of a modern day ship with a fairly flat upper surface and a large sloped lower surface, though as my wayfarer model shows that can be inverted.

2) tall angled middle section

3) 8 sided engine section

to me these are the defining features of the fenris

Mesh updated.. and it kind of looks like Dolan now >< I'll be figuring out how to blend things better.

Dolan? Do you mean that Dolan Duck thing? If it's that, I don't see the resemblance.

As much as I'm laughing my ass of at this, I think I need to redesign the front completely.

I think you are seeing too much in it. I can't see Dolan in there. But go ahead and redesign the front, and good luck with your ship!
