Hi,
Does anyone still have a copy of truespace 4.3 available somewhere?
If so, where can I get it?
Thanks !!

First off, please do not ressurrect threads that have been laying dormant for 8 years.
Secondly, the last TrueSpace version to be released for free is 7.6, which you may still be able to find via Google; be aware however that Truespace has been discontinued and is no longer supported.
It also has various known issues when used to produce models for FreeSpace, assuming that is something you want to do. If you want to do 3D modelling, why not use SketchUp or Blender? They're equally free, but have far fewer issues, and are still supported by their creators.

truespace 6 was the best version. truespace 7 took a lightweight modeling program and turned it into a bloated abomination that couldnt do more than the previous version, and did it much slower. in this day and age you are better off getting max. or if you dont want to pay outrageous sums/do something "illegal", you might as well just go with blender.

IIRC, if you're a student, you can get 3DS Max for free. I've just started studying, so I'll probably check that soon. :)
