Title: Crash after "Universal Truth" mission
Post by: Scriptura on October 17, 2013, 11:31:41 am
I finish the Universal Truth mission in AoA, and it then gives me an error.

Here is the debug mode error:

Please download this file: http://blueplanet.fsmods.net/E/Orion2.7z

Unpack it, and place the pof file in blueplanet\data\models.

Also, you do not need to run the debug executable, as it will be glacially slow compared to the release build.

That didn't seem to do anything, as I still got the same error on the normal build that I did before:

Red Alert: asked to delete ship (Beta 1) with invalid ship state (0)
ntdll.dll! ZwWaitForSingleObject + 21 bytes
kernel32.dll! WaitForSingleObjectEx + 67 bytes
kernel32.dll! WaitForSingleObject + 18 bytes

fs2_open_3_7_1_SSE2_BP.exe! <no symbol>
fs2_open_3_7_1_SSE2_BP.exe! <no symbol>
ntdll.dll! RtlDetermineDosPathNameType_U + 386 bytes

There was no "Models" folder in my BluePlanet data folder, is it suppose to go in the overall data one?

If its asking to delete a ship with invalid state, usually it's been destroyed during the mission. I've had that problem before, I tell it yes, and continue on.

That particular bug is fixed in a slightly more recent version (http://scp.indiegames.us/mantis/view.php?id=2904) of FSO (9740 vs 9724 which the current BP builds are based off).  Maybe The_E could update the build repository?  :nervous:

Or just use Huskers suggestion to avoid the issue.

Huh..I didn't realize that it was actually letting me go through them all. I had to go through the entire Beta and Gamma wings.
