Basically, a Quantum memory system has held data at room temperature for 39 minutes, a record for this type of storage.
Kind of reminds me of the research into superconductors, which started out as impossible, and then only available at near absolute zero, and is slowly progressing closer and closer to more 'normal' temperatures.
