I wondering what the point of this is?

LOLWTF
I was expecting a jumpscare, but it still got me.
Not to play the party pooper, but it makes a kind of sense if you step outside your own realm of experience. After all, if you got confronted by a child-zombie, you too would wish to know you could rely on your tires. It may not be an argument you would hear made in many western cultures, but really it is just an extrapolation of the routes taken by our own media, only along different paths.
-
Aaaand that nearly gave me a heartattack.
-
It does pop up very quickly at the start of the Video that it is 'not for the faint of heart', but an extra warning in the op might be helpful too ;)
-
Lol! Awesome find!
So it's going along and I see the ol' "girl in white dress in middle of road in a storm" thing and I'm thinking yeah sure, creepy, but wh- ************!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep, effective.
-
you pussies. what did you want more, a warning before the scare jump? "Now in two seconds there will be a jump scare. Prepare yourself. Watch your heartrate. Go to the doctor if it reaches 181 bpm"
-
Luis is right, not impressed at all. The pre-warning ruined it.
-
You guys are so cool and manly
-
the girlz always say that to me as well. must be true.
-
Well not sure if manly but yeah, it did not scare me to tell the truth. Besides the girl was clearly looking for a hug, no one understands :(
-
I'd like to point out for the record that jump-scares are not inherently scary. They are startling and really freaking annoying.
-
I'd just like to point out that if you really trust your tires then when the proper response would be GUN IT. Turn those ****ing zombie ghosts into road waffles. Bampf! *****es don't know bout my TIRES.
-
Nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
In b4 Nuke... Funny how that line applies to almost anything :)
-
Haha, that was pretty good.
-
Not terribly scary if you already seen the ring. Next time, after finding video on msn, find on youtube, and then embed here. The forums allow for this now. It works great too
In my own opinion the commercial doesn't terribly make too much sense. Their tires worked, but their target hit them anyway
The commercial suggests that your tires work so good, that what you were about to hit from being unable to stop, will go ahead and hit you itself. I guess crash rule physics were defined. If you didn't hit what you were destined to hit, then it will commit suicide impacting your car as hard as it can.
Go watch onemanonejar next. **** it, i'll make one up, onemanonegerbil. In hollywood, A cheap scare is a cheap scare (event horizon is full of them). Other scares are not only scary, but of endurance; also more effective time and time again versus cheap scares.
