Considering I finally got mIRC going to I can hang around, yep. It's worth it.

I just have to mention that there are better, non-shareware IRC clients around... like HexChat (http://hexchat.github.io/), for instance.

hexchat is good but it defaults to a completely asinine character encoding which you have to change to utf-8 for every server you join

I just use the built-in Trillian functionality whenever I swing by da IRCz.
