I like the fighter, but personally it doesn't look like a post-Capella death machine to me - the design just doesn't seem to integrate any of the design cues we got in FS2 about how Terran fighters were going all sleek and sexy. That said, with its bolted-together look and grungey, exposed-rivets textures, I think it'd be a really, really cool pirate fighter - something designed as a missile boat that just spams Rockeyes and Furies in massive quantities to overwhelm convoy defenders in a first strike - maybe a sort of glass cannon.

But regardless of how it gets used, it's cool, so congrats n the release!

And yes, a double post I know, but a bit of a bump isn't a bad thing here - this will probably get a little boost from the newsletter in a few days, but in the meantime, it's apparently gone largely unnoticed, which isn't how it ought to be, given how well made the model is.

I just realised to my shame I never got around to replying to this; a pity as I really like the sounds of it. The Erinyes was my favourite fighter of FS2 and the only thing I ever really struggled with was it's slowness when I manned up and upped my difficulty to medium :lol:, so a fighter which matches the Erinyes stats overall but is faster really appeals to me :yes:. I love the shape of it overall too; you've somehow managed to give it some curviness yet kept that blocky 'built by humans' look at the same time. This could very well be a new favourite for me. I really must give it a whirl now I have some time.
