when i first installed the freespace shortcut on the desktop couldn't find the program but it worked after i made a new shortcut.
but later when i tied to use fred it said there was a missing file when i tried to run freespace.
i thought re-instalation might work but i cant uninstall cos of the missing file.
i just get "unable to locate the installation log file 'c:\program' "
i installed into a subdirectory, could the computer just be lookin in the wrong place for some reason?
thanx for any help

go to the sub directory, and delete the folder named FreeSpace 2

Did you install FS2 into a folder that has a space in it (Such as Program Files)? For some reason the uninstaller has conniptions when you do that. I devised a way to fix yonks ago but can't for the life of me remember it.

Uninstall FS2? Traitor!

Shotguns are located under the seats, exits to the left and right-though none of these work any longer. And I assure you, it's not from lack of use. All beverages are available at the Steakhouse, as well as steak...for dinner :drevil:

Um, I knew the shotguns didn't work anymore, but you're telling me the exits don't work either?
*runs*
*bangs nose into locked exit*

did anyone else have problems installing FS2? when i reinstalled after a format it worked fine but the first time was a b****... i even had a post about it, and of course i got the 'click the install button n00b', but it was strange, i couldnt run the disk, as if it wasnt reading. and then when i got it to, it would freeze. i guess i clicked run too many times, because about 20 min. later dozens of install windows popped up... talk about lag spike.

patience is a virtue.
its not wise to start programs on a busy PC.

it's all part of Interplay's plan to take over the world, starting with not allowing users to uninstall games...
you didn't know that!? :D

Yes, The Plan™ ;7
And we don't have shotguns at all. A month ago we changed them to flamethrowers.
