:( The man, the author of Never Cry Wolf has passed on. He was, to me, a great advocate of environmentalism in Canada.

I feel embarrassed seeing as how I take a least a tiny bit of smug pride in my nationality but have never heard of this man or any of his works.

Seems like a nice bloke, though. I feel the loss.
