Title: Freespace In Ottawa
Post by: Trivial Psychic on May 10, 2014, 09:10:16 pm
I accidentally came across this one while trying to plot a bus route for my mother-in-law.  Who'd a thought that GTVA core systems ran right through my city of residence.

Displayed On Google Maps (https://www.google.com/maps/@45.3318313,-75.7082249,17z)

BTW, keep a look out for Cold Elements ;)

You mean the name of the streets?
I'd say they are vaguely related to freespace, considering those are actual stars stars/constelation names of course.
Still it's awesome that someone named streets after celestial elements, you don't see that around here and instead get a bunch of heroe themed naming.

Beware of red-and-black cars parked in circles. :D

I'd investigate that B-Con Engineering place if I were you.

B-Con = Beacon = Shivan Comm Node

Makes even more sense considering you have to go through Capella to get there.

City Council needs to watch out for sinkholes.

I wonder if you have the Sathanas (de)Construction Company there as well. :P

Looks like an urban planner got asked to design a technology park and got a bit carried away with the street names.
