Hey guys.
I know head-tracking's not a primary concern for you but I figured I should inform you guys anyway.
Tried out Diaspora 1.1 last night for a bit, went through the first three missions. Throughout I was wondering why my guns didn't seem to be on target, even though my deathdot was right on top of them. Then I noticed that when I turned my head, the crosshair and pipper followed my view! You can imagine this could be a bit disorienting, especially in a dogfight.
You can test this out by just targeting a ship that's stationary, put it in front of you, and turning your head about 10 degrees. You'll see the LCOS stay dead centre on your reference crosshair. IMO it should be drawn relative to the target.

Have you tried the 1.1.1 update? I was under the impression this bug has been fixed already.

Ah, that solved it. I didn't think it would help since it wasn't mentioned in the changelog.

The Diaspora changelogs don't list every single FSO code change between builds; 1.1.1 has a newer build of FSO that included that head-tracking fix.
