so i've fs2 for about a week and i started messing about with fred2.
i made the walkthrough mission which was working fine till monday.
now all of a sudden after the second of sleipner wing docks with the relentless (it doesn't matter which) they won't undock with the relentless.
they just warp straight out, which looks quite odd; a gti argo carrying off a gtd orion.
i tried changing sleipner wings to undock then move to waypoint 5 instead of warping and i tried to make the relentless wait for a minute before becoming hostile then wait another minute before turning on the engines and moving out but none of this works.
i even broke warp on sleipner 2 but it still crries of the relentless.
sleipner one undocks and departs with no problem.
the only thing i can think of that made a change was i edited the tables to include greg logans x wing table with the grand emperors model, but when the mission stopped working i removed the edited table.
could editing the table have a lasting effect?

Show the undocking sexp.

This might not be a SEXP problem (well at least a SEXP in the event section).
click on Slepner2 and bring up the ships menu (use wings if slepner is a wing rather than individual ships). Check that the departure cue is set to -false.
If it isn`t that is probably your problem.

yeah that worked.
somehow the departure cue was set to relentless captured so as soon as the ship turned hostile sleipner wing warps regardless of whether any ships were docked.
the thing is though, i checked that yesterday and the departure cue box for sleipner wing was greyed out which i assumed was down to the individual ships having independent warp cues, but now i think about it that wouldn't make sense cos you might want a wing to warp individually or as a wing depending on circumstances.
well anyway it works now so thanks for the help

No problem. I`m always happy to help another person learn how to FRED :)

You can easily tell if someone's been smoking something, if they draw a comic called "Road Sign", involving pointless superheroes, illegal accent marks, insane-and-drunk-Tinky-Winky-lookalikes, and Strom Thurmond.
Wait... that would be me...
Well, at least it does explain a lot. I mean, have you ever tried to put a cedille on an H? :D

No wonder the Collossus got destroyed...the support vessel was supposed to jump out with it if a Sathanas jumped in or it was severely damaged, but then Alpha 1 ordered support to dock with him... :D

you think fred2 is crazed now, wait until it calls you a moron

Especially when it does so in poorly written spanish, with ~'s on top of p's and b's, instead of on n's where they should be.
