As The E said, this isn't specifically about Lorric, who as far as I know has mostly learned his lessons and doesn't deserve constant harassment. I am responding more to the expressed goal of endless patient rehabilitation - which in the past has cost HLP many more good users than it has created, and come near to costing many more.
Having badges next to your name doesn't deny you the right to feel safe and comfortable on HLP.

I never feel safe. I do get the impression that certain people feel entitled to exert/impress themselves on or over others due to #badgecount.

I feel the same, only I don't think it's badge count. It's hard to explain. It's like they act possessive as if they own the forum and the rest of us have to conform to the standards they demand of us. No tolerance. Anything that falls outside of what they deem to be "right" is attacked. Particularly gen disc.
