It's good, but the Fenris looks like it's made out of used Aluminium foil . Plus your beam could do with being a little more intense.

the fenris looks fine, but put some glow maping on that Mara
beam could use a hotter core

What Bob said really, although I think the Fenris looks like it was made of plastic and set fire to.... I speak from experience. And making that Shivan ship glow is key to all this... you've got the lighting right though - great job!

Very nice!

I would place a light to illuminate the side of the Fenris. Not a powerfull light, very faint.

I extracted the frames and added them on a plane in lightwave as a sequence and then loaded them in the rending engine. In short it's not prerenderd:D

1. Yes it is. And it's a very nice example of bump mapping. Now please explain why you did it.

2. I mean that in FS beams have an opaque white core and fade out to a colour. Your beam is translucent blue all the ay through with no indication that the core varies in any way from the extreme edge.

1. Because i liked it bump maped, maby i used abit to much. Thats why i changed the bump map from 300% to 150%
2. I couldn't be botherd to add a white core.
