Ummhhh... Venom gave me a model that was about as big as a hetsepshut so I never resized it correctly... otherwise it would look ok..  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

interesting use of geometry, at first the tecniqes you used wouldn't produce good results but you used them in such a manner in combonation with absolutly briliant textures that it produced a look of high poly with probly no more than 350 poly, and you do these models so fast it's erie.

BWO is in need of a texturer and could use another modeler,

A weapon duh... FS1 has had tech room probs too... one of the weapons said it did medium hull damage when it did none at all

Working for BWO? Damn, that would mean I would work on almost all the major campaigns out there... Well, if you can allow me to make the models how I want (that means at least 4/5 maps for each model), why not?

Maeglamor: it's a mix from the artemis DH, the Ares, the Erinyes and my own work, for the maps. it uses 4 512*512 maps
Actually, the models uses 454 polys; mainly because I urrowed the guns deep in the hull, and made the exhaust hollow. I was seriously thinking of doing a very detailled cockpit ( hollow, with flipped normals for the glass, and a pilot in it), but it come to me that not everybody had a Athlon 900...
QXMX: you know why the GTVI never released the specs? Coz they don't have any idea of how this thing will fly lol. To be more clear, I don't know what tbl to give to her... but it looks like a damn efficient ship to me. Only 4 gun points thought.

This is a good example of what I said in another thread, you can have a simple model but if it has good texturing it will look excellent.

The cockpit idea sounds intriguing, there are a few ways in which you could give the appearance of a pilot without too many polys. I might experiment with this if I get a sec.

if you do want to textur for BWO all the models are already UVmaped, all you'd need to do would be the texture map.

Raven: for my next campaign, if I ever finish the one I'm doing right now... If I can't finish this one, I definitively won't try to make another one. So I need heeeeeeelp!!!! (I need a mission designer and someone to help Snipes and Darkage to do new skins for the FS1 terran fighters, coz I know I ask a lot for only 2 people...)

How do you do a texture map?  I can do simple textures, but mapping like that takes some skill.

That model is not for my campaign, anyway.
It should be released... well, the model is converted, and I should do the loadout screens today. Then the only thing to do will be the shield anis, and that's up to woomeister.
