Title: Missing Multiplayer Hud

Not sure where this belongs, so feel free to move.

Finally got FSO working again. Played  FSO with NOMOD and things were fine. When I applied the latest MEDIA VP as the mod, I had a partial hud. I could see the bottom left corner showing the Hostile ship, I could see chat, and the top left character animation. I could see my 3 point targeter in the middle but no Circle showing me where to shoot. Could not see Escort list box, nor my weapons, ammo box, nor my ship on the bottom center nor the shield strength quad. Pressing * showed my ship like normal. When using Harpoons I could hear when it locked, but would not show the Diamond target.

Why am I missing most of my hud?

Got \fs2_open_3_7_2_RC3.exe and the latest VPs 3.6.12

It sounds like you have a bad HUD file. Look in mediavps_3612\data\tables (if it exists) for a file named "hud_gauges.tbl" or any files ending with "-hdg.tbm" and move or delete them. If that doesn't help, then go to the HUD configuration menu (located near the bottom-right corner of the options menu) and make sure that none of the gauges are turned off. If that doesn't help either, then post your debug log (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=56279.msg1180359#msg1180359) and a screenshot of your HUD.

You'd have to get a cockpit mod. I don't know where exactly you can find one, though, other than through searching hard enough.

Updating Media VP's fixed problem. Thank you.

LATE EDIT: After playing with another player online both using 2014 media VP. Huds are both gone..
