Well, the Bentusi station isnt co-operating, so I give you the Turanic "Assassin" Class Ion Array Frigate (http://www.3dap.com/hlp/hosted/tap/downloads/tioncannonfrigate.vp)
It doesnt have a tbl file, I've been too busy to rewrite it, with the moving and all...
It only has one weapon, and basic capship subsystems, so it shouldnt be too hard to write one yourself.

didn't you release the kushan ion cannon frigate a while (long while) ago? We need something original here! Besides, the Trade Station is alot cooler

In what way does the Bentusi Horseshoe not work?
Y'know, the first time I saw that ship I thought it was goin to clamp onto my (Kushan) mothership and run off with it!

First off, when you convert it and open it in modeler, some of the mesh's points are way the hell off in the middle of nowhere, which makes it look demented, and it crashes the game when you try to run it.... I cant figure out why, I may have to rebuild it from scratch...

why don't you ask around th hw community Thorn?
there's ALOT of mods of hw...one specific guy that knows like...everything about modding, Delphy. Look around the community sites or post on the relic boards and you'll most likely be able to find him..
he's like a f'n god of hw modding

Be thankful there was a release at all. The guys are having quite a few troubles with the stuff.

It could apply to any Super Nintendo fighting game, or any fighting game I can think of, especially the Tekken series.

Maybe FF/Street Fighter/DBZ. The Hadoken was Ryu's and Ken's fireball thing, but the effect is too dragenballish.
And is that from 8-bit theater?

how many different file formats have you tried as intermediates in your conversions?
You may be aware there is one small shared texture area on the bentusi ship, lod0, just behind the top center of the horseshoe's front. Dunno if that would cause a problem with a converter or not. I really dont know much about how FS2 uses models or what type of models... Have you tried converting to a lightwave mesh first to split apart the model into objects based on the different materials? Then perhaps convert to .obj or whatever format FS2 uses?

It has to be converted to .cob, Truespace format, to convert it to .pof. It converts fine to Truespace. Renders properly and everything. Add the turrets, convert it, open it in ModelView, and either it crashes, or it looks gimped... I cant see it working by any way short of rebuilding it from scratch...

Maybe it's the Attack of the -- INVERTED TEXTURES!!!
I used to have the same problem when I was converting Hellbender models into Freespace 2 POF format.
By the way, can you give me an actual list of the ships that you haven't converted yet? The site doesn't help that much.
What this campaign needs is ORGANIZATION! I could start designing the first Cataclysm mission for ya' - FREESPACE STYLE! :D
