Hey guys, I bought another Humble Bundle the other hour and have spare keys left due to already owning a few ot the games already. After asking pretty much all of my online friends three have remained. So before they go to waste, I would like to give them away to the HLP community.
Although it's first come, first serve, please remember to be fair. If you have no idea what the game is about, don't just go ahead and redeem it just because it's free, there might be someone who wanted to pick one of these up for quite a while. Then again, no one has to ask for permission, just go ahead and grab them if you want them.

I grabbed the demo of Audiosurf ages ago and enjoyed it (although I never actually bought it). I'd grab that one now Flipside, it's a keeper.

I think that's normal.
When I create a gift link that's the screen it gives me. So you need to put in your user info and redeem it there. Though I've only given gifts, never received.

If you click gift before buying the bundle, that gives the whole thing away. But after you purchase for yourself, you have an option to gift each game individually.

Anyone who has not played Crysis 2 or Dead Space, get down on that. :) (just don't pay attention to the story of crysis. or consider it a sequel to the original)
I had the Star Wars bundle in my cart during the steam sale, but stopped myself from pulling the trigger due to the fact I haven't even played KOTOR that I got years ago yet, and most of the pack had some REALLY awful reviews. I generally don't trust much on steam below 90%, and a lot of these were around 50%. Was that just nerd rage, or are most of the games really that bad?

Is Left 4 Dead worth anything as a single player game? I'm mildly interested as it has such a great reputation but multiplayer isn't my thing.

I'd say it's not nearly as fun in singleplayer, as it's great when you're all scrambling to save each other's asses while simultaneously trying not to shotgun blast them in the face too much (and Versus mode with a group of friends is just a riot). However, the AI is at the very least competent, and it's perfectly playable solo. I'd say it's worth the $4 they're asking for it in the current sale even if you're just interested in SP.

"Perfectly playable solo" is how I'd describe it as well; the game is best played with a group of competant humans, but the AI is definitely preferable to someone who has no clue what they're doing (if you have two people who don't know what they're doing, the AI can at least fill out the group so that somebody will be trying to revive you :P).

That's *exactly* what playing L4D by yourself is like. But the bots have enough personality and are smart enough that it's not awful.
The best way to play L4D is with other people. Preferably, three other people that are also unfamiliar with the game, so you can stumble through it together.

Yeah, singleplayer means you're going to have the other three Survivors controlled by the AI, but like Sushi said they're surprisingly competent at covering your ass (often moreso than certain human players would be :p), so it works pretty well. The one difference is that in L4D2 (and its ported L4D1 campaigns), the AI doesn't use the melee weapons that human players can, presumably because that would have been something of a nightmare to pull off correctly, but it's not a big loss. The game was designed from the beginning to have other human players drop in and out at will.

I'm not sure why, but HumbleBundle is not showing gift links for those. I don't have them installed or redeemed on Origin or Steam, but all it shows is a link to get the Origin/Steam keys. I don't know if they are somehow tied to my Origin or Steam accounts even though I have not redeemed them. Anyone have any ideas?

Yup! As far as I know you can set up a private LAN server for yourself with you as the only player. AI Bots fill in for the missing players. The Last Stand DLC is an anti-bot survival mode, so that would probably be most conducive to single-player.

Feels a lot like an underdeveloped Rogue Squadron. I enjoyed it, right up until the ending difficulty spikes.

I got the remastered Homeworld 1 & 2 about a year ago from Steam, but I haven't played it since I played the original Homeworld back in 1999. I still have to play HW2.

I'm curious: you're not interested in Overload (I already have it) It's basically a modernized Descent, made by the same peeps that made Descent (closely related to FS, they share at least a few pieces of code in fact). Descent just not your thing, or is it just an extra copy?

For the little ones like that, the protocol is "Please take them all!" For the headliner games, I might ask for some restraint, but that hasn't been an issue yet. Sent, btw.
