Just went and bought myself one of these for my birthday. Always wanted one.

I've had thoughts of getting one of those, but I've already got an X45.  And I don't use it that much anymore, so I'd really be a waste of money.

It's strongly suggested you do the magnet mod for the non-pro version, otherwise nice unit.  Congrats. :)

(picked up an x55 a few weeks ago, makes a world of difference on games)

Yeah, HOTAS is awesome. I remember when I first made the switch to CH Fighterstick et al, soon after I got used to it I began to wonder how could I even use anything else. :) Consider getting the rudder pedals as well, though I don't know how Saitek ones feel.
