Title: The Great Revival
Post by: wardog300k on December 27, 2014, 06:08:56 am
My PC i worked on is dead, and now i've got a new more powerful one.Luckily i saved all mod data on my flash before it was lost.
Missions will be done faster with better quality,i may even install FSO,if i can.

More new stuff:currently working on making a new demo that has more connections with the campaign itself, and more missions,
i am also working on a trailer that will be released along with the demo and finally i'll post few screenies soon.

Install FSO as fast as U can. Working on retail FS is a horror. When You discover all the new features, such as many new SEXPs in FRED, You will never go back to retail FS.

I will most likely install FSO,but not yet.
End mission, texture replace and camera SEXPs could help.

My PC 504MB RAM,1.6GHz should be alright for installing it.

Also, working on retail ain't really a horror,i'm not actually using any too complex SEXPs,i ain't getting any crashes.

But,first thing i need to do is to finish retail campaign, for the 8th time.

You can always install barebones FSO.

just the . Exe file and one. Vp file iirc.

FSO can run with all retail data; you don't need any extra VP files to make it work.

Are you positive? I know at least at one time it needed one vp file.

Edit: apparently it does not need a vp file. Could have swore it needed mv_core.vp or something...
