A large plume of gas has been detected on Mars that seems to defy the atmospheric capabilities of the planet.
I shall, as a precaution, be avoiding Horsell Common for the next few weeks....

Plumes are not green so we are safe ;) anyway The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one

That will be the noxious fumes produced by the Martian war machine kicking into high gear as Mars readies itself for our coming invasion. They'll have taken note of how easily the moon was conquered, and won't go down so easily.
