after many days trying to run this i got this error:

Please post your fs2_open.log file.  Instructions on how to do this can be found in this post.

You're probably using the 2014 MediaVPs with FSO 3.7.0. Those are not compatible with each other; use FSO 3.7.2 RC5 (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=89060.0) instead.
