So sad to see him go... :(
-
And I had just read from Takei that was hospitalized for a heart attack a little while ago
Live Long and Prosper. That's certainly something he did
Also, you were beat by this fellow http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=89251.0

Rest in Peace Spock! :(

Live long and prosper.
Wait... ****. Uh....
Beam me up Scotty God?
-
Don't worry, he already did it once and returned. :) I'm sure he'll be right back when he's needed again...
Rest in peace, at least until the Enterprise passes by again.

He was an inspiration, as both an actor and a person. Live long and prosper.

Now would be a good time for a colorful metaphor.

Heard about this almost first thing after I woke up. Very sad. Without him Sci-fi would have been radically different I suspect.
-
Heard about it last night, very sad news, but considering he was the age I am now the year I was born, also quite poignant.
He lived long and he prospered, that's a successful mission.

Of my friend, I can only say this: Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most.... [voice breaks] human.

I don't know anything about the man himself, but how many characters in the history of television can you think of that the average person on the street would be this aware of? He absolutely nailed that character. Spock has his place in my memories too.
And he did indeed live long and prosper. RIP.

I heard a suggestion that the next time NASA send up a scientific probe, they name it Nimoy in honour of him. I think this is an excellent idea.
