Title: UE4 FREE for masses

Not sure if it belongs here or programming board, but hey!
Free for game develpement, applications, education etc for 5% royalty.

Kinda big news for game developement.
I'm so glad I have no more reasons to learn unrealscript.

That's fantastic.  5% of Free FSO  is zero right so is that an option?

Porting FSO to UE4 is highly unlikely to happen.

That being said, The E was working on a UE4 project with assets from Blue Planet; I'm unsure how far along that is now.

Just heard about this. Am actually surprised at them going total free as had always thought their original deal was pretty decent anyway, but hey this is me not complaining! :yes: Doubt my PC could run it but might give it a shot anyhow; does look like a beautiful engine.
