Title: Visual Studio 2015 RC considered useless (for the moment)
Post by: The E on May 01, 2015, 12:49:56 am
Yesterday, MS released the Visual Studio 2015 release candidate. It is currently impossible to compile FRED with it, due to an error in its version of MFC (https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/1291119/unresolved-external-cwnd-resizedynamiclayout-void). Building FSO is no problem however.

:bump:

Microsoft has released the multibyte characterset MFC library for VS2015 (http://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=47262), which allows FRED compilation on VS2015 again.
