Now that deferred lighting has become a standard feature (as seen with recent Nightly builds), I thought I'd link to a quick-and-easy pair of *-shp.tbm files to re-enable glowpoint lights for Blue Planet (both Age of Aquarius and War in Heaven). Since their function is the opposite of the old "Compatibility Pack" VPs, I have dubbed them the "Anticompatibility Pack".
For AoA: http://deviance.duckish.net/downloads/bp-anticompat-shp.tbm
(Place in /blueplanet/data/tables/, creating /data/ and /data/tables/ if necessary.)
For WiH: http://deviance.duckish.net/downloads/bp2-anticompat-shp.tbm
(Place in /blueplanet2/data/tables/, creating /data/ and /data/tables/ if necessary.)
Since glowpoints.tbl wasn't removed from bp-core.vp, that's all you need to make glowpoints start emitting light again! Enjoy!
Disclaimer: Obviously won't work with 3.7.2, or any 3.7.3 Nightly before 2015/05/12 (5dfbc6d) as they won't know what to do with "$Glowpoint overrides:" entries.
