Ok guys - who is actively making checkins on PCS2.  We need to talk about migrating PCS2 off Sourceforge because of what SF has become.

			-
I think Spicious is the only active contributor to PCS2

This just came up in #scp the other day.
<DahBlount> Does anybody know where I can get the PCS2 source code?
<@chief_work> good q, I forgot
<MageKing17> http://sourceforge.net/p/alliance/pcs2/ci/master/tree/
<BotenAlfred> Alliance Productions / pcs2     / [60b7e7]
<MageKing17> No idea if that's the current repository.
<@chief_work> was gonna say, it still on sourceforge?
<@chief_work> we should move that.
So. GitHub?

It would be nice if we could have as many tools as we can on the same plateform.

			-
				Github is fine with me

			-
Agree. Worth yanking it off Sourceforge given their recent efforts to screw over users/downloaders.

			-
Did this ever get moved? We could possibly host it as one of the SCP organization projects

given how essential PCS2 is to creating 3d assets for the engine I think it needs to be SCP managed

Given there's been no commits since Jan 2014, and Spicious hasn't said anything in this thread for 4 months, maybe we just copy the source to github? I think we need a github admin to setup the initial project, and provide appropriate perms on it.  Then we just copy the repo over...

I've created the repo (https://github.com/scp-fs2open/PCS2). Anyone in the github "badged developers" group has commit access to it.

			-
I've copied over the repo from SF, including the one branch name "the-e" :)

				Thanks much. :)
You might see some activity on it soonish, DarkMage (DMJC on IRC) and I have been going over getting PCS2 to work with wxWidgets 3.0, which has some things that are pretty much broken and not working.
