When I search for news about Blue Planet - Akt III I stumbled about a 5 year old YouTube video called "First Battle of Neptune - Free Space 2 Blue Planet".
As the name suggest it shows a mission about the assault of the Meridian and several escort corvettes of the 4th Fleet on a station in the orbit of neptune defended by a Karuna.
The video is 5:53 min long and the ship models seem to be older than the ones used in WiH Act II and the second release of Act I.
Because it looks interesting I would like to know if its playable somewhere?
Does anyone know something about this mission? What this a tech demo for WiH or something like this?

Found this in the comments but its over 2 years old
My username on Hard Light Productions is Dilmah G,and I FREDed this mission. Shoot me a PM and I'll send it through to you. Be advised, this is heavily retconned by the final story of WIH, and there's also a kind bloke working on updating it. I can give you the version in this video though. :)
I do not think it was ever a public release though, so not even sure it would work with current builds, I never had a copy. Good luck :)

Ok, so it´s not part of the BP campaign or a demo.
I just hoped that the mission would be included in the next release as a part of the main story (maybe a flashback), a short GTVA campaign about the first month of the war or as a bonus mission in the tech room.
Thanks so far for your reply.

Playing this mission with all the new assets would be a blast :D

IIRC it was from a campaign that told the story of Blueplanet from the GTVA point of view. I'm pretty sure the campaign is dead now.

It was a one-off mission from Dilmah (one of a series of missions he fredded) separate from BP:Tev. The entire mod can't have been more than a few months old at the time (judging by the old old uef capship weapons)

Dilmah did that mission and Millennium Express very early on. They were both awesome tone pieces. I don't think they were ever whipped into shape as complete missions, but they were a hell of a lot of fun.

I may be wrong but I thought I saw Scotty say somewhere there was progress on it?
