Here's what's needed. Vasudan Fighters and bombers, 3 corvettes ( 2 vasudan), 2 vasudan destroyers. Other than that and what we plan to make new, the ships are chosen for all 4 of the realms in the Combat Federeation.
We are also in dire need of a Texturer to texture some models that have already been made, or are being made.
If you can give me direction on where to head for the ships we need, i would appreciate it.

i just can't remember when i have seen the fs community this excited about a project (sarcasm). Here's the deal, the year is 2764, the GTVA has created 4 realms, and although it holds no planets itself, it is the ruling body. Each realm was a separate entity under GTVA control. The GTVA has fallen and each of the four realms are vieing to replace it. Peaceful negotiations have fallen aside, and war erupts between all four realms. You get to choose which realm you fight for, you get to choose where you move your fleet(s) to, and you get to either rule all of known space, or you get to get blown away by the oposition.

How do you plan on letting someone control what and where ships move to? Let alone picking which of four fleets to join?
Asking for models isn't that hard, but I'd reccommend using the ever-poplar (but seldom used) search button on the page and hunting for 'corvettes' 'vasudan' 'new model!' and 'pimp'.
That way you could find the threads the creators keep an eye on and just ask them for the ship they have instead of having to drag them over here to yours.

Choosing is a real simple thing to in fred. all of the resources are right there for you, you'd be quite surprised at how simple it really is.
And as for your suggestion about using search, sometimes i just don't think. thanks

Actually. I am somewhat familiar with the system we'll be using. It is very easy, but not a lot of background info from which to base your decisions.

It won't be like Command and Conquer, or any of those type of strategy games. And you won't use the comm menu to order your fleet around. From what I understand, this is going to have like 50+ missions, even if the player only plays 4 or 5. Then you have 4 realms, each trying to become the new leaders of the fallen GTVA. Thats like 200+ missions. Then we have like 5 parts planned. That comes to about 1000+ missions. We gotta come up with a better strategy Shadow Wolf. I think we can do this. But you will have to draft some more Fredders. You won't be able to do it alone. You will get arthritis, or Carpal Tunel, or something.

This is what happens when we have compartmentalization. People know their jobs, and have an overview of things, but not the particulars. It leads to misunderstandings of how things work. One thing you are right about, it will take alot of missions to pull this off, but not so many as you think. We are setting it up modular. You are still thinking in two dimensions. The third dimension is the one where things start to kick ass.
