So "BigDelta" by the World’s Advanced Saving Project (WASP) can reportedly build clay+fiber structures quickly using 3D printing techniques.
In western economies this would clearly be a gimmick though I certainly see utility for it in Africa or for example short to midterm disaster relief, it is a step in a good direction in terms of moving 3D printing away from hand scale projects and into the realm of large object manufacture.
Thoughts?

Definitely a gimmick, probably would require tear-down before moving onto the next hut unless it's strong enough to be hoisted about with a crane.
They probably should compare the hut design with other designs, like the wood frame house, brick and mortar, etc. to compare speeds durability, cost of construction, cost of maintenance.

Seems like speed would be the main advantage here, along with cost (clay and fiber are cheap). Other techniques might be more durable and comfortable (I don't really see 3D printing a proper Western house), but it might look appealing if you live in a shack. The printer looks like it's big but lightweight, I wouldn't be surprised if it could be moved in one piece.

looks like a mobile crane with an extending reach might be able to move the frame no problem if it is strong enough to move wholesale then just reattach the printing gear at the bottom to start the process again
