Ok i started learning how to use fred, and i did the mara tutorial but i tried to load it and this

Error: Couldn't open mission 'duel.fs2.

Rename your data folder to get clean game data...AND remove any source coded exe files and use the original ones...

So what would i rename it to? And source coded exe files? I haven't changed anything since i last reinstalled as far as i know

The name doesn't matter.  Name it 'data2' for all it's worth as long as it's not named 'data'.  This will make the game refer to the .vp files in it's root directory instead.

And the source code changed stuff is for those who downloaded the stuff that's been compiled.  If you've never dl'ed any of it, then don't worry about it.
