*Places fingers close together*
I am THIS close to completing work on the Gencore Fleet Systems VF-21 'Harpy' Space Superiority fighter. Whilst it's not as good as half the models out there (it needs a set of decent textures for a start, but I can't do that! :D) it's still the best that I've ever done. :)
I'm wanting to put it up somewhere, as I don't have a website for GFS...........yet...............and with HLP being slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow these days, where do I put it?

How would you like it at www.valhalla.dreamstation.com (http://www.valhalla.dreamstation.com) I'm always looking for new things for the site. If it isn't tooo bad;) , I may even put it in the campaign, provided its done.

Well, I've got to do a selection ani (time consuming) and a shield ani (never done one before) as well as playtest it on my friend's version of FS2, then I'll send it. :)

If you have a picture and a brief description, I'll put those up for now.

Well, here's a description. I'll try to do a nice piccy, but I want to finish the thing first. :)
The Gencore Fleet Systems VF-21 Harpy is possibly one of the pivotal products in the company's short history. Originally developed as a potential replacement for the ageing 'Shrike' fighter by Novaldex. The Shrike had served the Venusian Navy for some twenty years, and was now obsolete in light of new technologies. Appearance-wise the Harpy looked very simple, but it was the beginning of the 'things aren't always what they seem' tradition of GFS.
At fleet trials the Harpy out-performed Novaldex's own entrant, the Raven, by being so utterly and resoundingly better than anything that it was difficult to comprehend. The Harpy is very fast, extremely agile, and the Venus' new Beam Laser armament, is very dangerous. The Harpy was eventually retired after fifteen years by Gencore's newer fighter, the VF-22 'Phoenix.'
