Post by: Stryke 9 on July 31, 2002, 10:06:39 pm
Anyone know of a good English-Russian translator? I need one for a bit of campaign I'm working on...

Altavista has a fairly decent translator. Can only do Russian-English though.

That's my problem. All of the campaigns in the universe I use have this huge Eastern European-descended faction in them, and I don't know a word of Russian.

Try Babelfish (babelfish.altavista.com), it can do pretty much.

Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy...

A comedy series written by a decent british auther who is sadly know dead.

The babelfish is HHGttG's version of Star Trek's 'universal translator'.  The babelfish 'eats' sound waves of a certain language and 'excreates' sound waves of another language.
