Desktop image shows are getting old. Time for something new. Post an image of the best 3D model you've made or seen in recent times.

Mine would be the new Wasp, which I discovered recently in a cache of old, presumed lost model files and fixed up a bit:

And, for a little variety, here's the version the Renderosity people liked better. I think it's a bit too much, personally, and I miss the highlight.
