I received this from a friend and thought it was very interesting,
because
even though he did what is written below fools still are trying to prove his
queries.
"I was a young man with unformed ideas. I threw out queries, suggestions,
wondering all the time over everything; and to my astonishment the ideas
took
like wildfire. People made a religion out of them."
Charles Darwin
This statement was made toward the end of his life, after Darwin had
discounted Evolution as simply impossible, and by this time had given large
portions of his fortune to Christian Missionaries in South America.
The above was an email my mom got from friend.
Isn't it interesting that Darwin himself in the last years of his life admitted his own "theory" was impossible!

Not really, because it's not really news. Darwin was no Einstein, anyway- the theory HE came up with had major, and obvious, logical flaws, though his basic idea was thoroughly valid. The only reason he figured it out in the first place is because he had the point essentially shoved in his face by the slight variations in species to serve different functions on his islands.
And people can make a religion out of any belief. The term he meant was more "faith" than "religion", anyway. There are people who think quite profoundly on religion, and work out their own understanding of whatever denomination they are. They're generally known as "heretics", with a few exceptions. "Faith" is simply closing your eyes and letting others think about the Universe for you. It's a contemptible thing to do, and people do it with literally every question deeper than "Should I have microwaved hot dogs for lunch, or canned macaroni?". Some exceptionally lazy or stupid people even work that in.

No, not again. .

Where is the interesting part? I didn't find one... :doubt:
And blah... religion thread again... I hope this will be closed as soon as possible... :drevil:

At least give it a month before you post another.
